smoked mullet

  • Have the mullets ready (no head and butterfly cut)
  • Have the smoker ready at 200 degrees.
  • You can season your fish with anything you like, we use sea  salt and a sea food seasoning.
  • Let it cook for 5 hours.

Take the fish out, and remove the spine and all the little bones.

Place fish meat in your food processor and mix. Add little by little olive oil to make it smooth. You can also add little pieces of fine chopped carrots, celery and onion.

Add pepper and salt to taste. If the dip still too hard you can always add a little of coconut cream (can) to your desired spread consistency.
